For a less technological version of entrainment, several different musical products are available which allow you the choice of brainwave state. The Brainwave Suite is one example of this music based system. This four CD volume allows the choice of alpha, theta, delta, or an alpha/theta mix. Another choice of this type is the “Five Directions” CD set. Any of these types of music requires headphones, as the binaural technology cannot be processed by the brain when the sounds are played by speakers.

I use natural sounds for my meditations, such as the sound of rain, flowing water, a forest or ocean waves. I can reach very deep states for a long time by actively listening to all the different nuances of natural sounds. A site that offers a great variety of such sounds is http://www.TranscendentalTones.com
I have always been a great believer in meditation every day. I try to get an hour in before I eat in the morning, but it can be incredible difficult for many people.
Many have busy lives, work, children, bills etc. I really think that it’s something which must be a life priority. For many people, the fact that they meditate on a daily basis, actually helps to make every day more structured and positive.
The difficulty is the transition from not meditation to getting into daily meditation. Once you’re there it just all slips into life and becomes easier.

Dear Friends,
I am writing this email with the intention of promoting my blog called “Lucid Living”. I believe that the “Lucid Living” content would complement the theme of your website and could possibly be of interest to your visitors.
The blog is a record of a spiritual journey and is intended to see what the effects of a serious daily spiritual practice and lifestyle have on the life of an ordinary man living in today’s modern world. I have been a casual practitioner of yoga and meditation for about 10 years, but last summer I became inspired to intensify my spiritual life. I have distilled and synergized the knowledge and experience that I have acquired through a decade of spiritual seeking into a practice called Lucid Living. Since August 2010, I have begun keeping a daily online journal of my inner journey as a kind of online experiment for others to follow and perhaps gain inspiration from. Below is a link to the “Lucid Living” static introduction page which contains a more thorough description of my project:

I invite you to visit this site and take a moment to read the introductory static page and perhaps a few of the entries.
Sincerely,
Raphael
It’s great that all kinds of products are being made available to help people meditate and reach higher levels of consciousness. Our world needs that so urgently. The website http://www.transcendentaltones.com also offers free downloads in form of guided meditations, pure sounds of nature and binaural beats for all to use.
